🎶 These smiles, these songs, and these traditions are only possible because of supporters like you. 🎶

For more than 24 years, Conjunto Heritage Taller (CHT) has been dedicated to preserving, promoting, and passing on the rich tradition of Conjunto music to future generations.

Through free classes, workshops, performances, camps, and community programs, we serve youth, young adults, seniors, veterans, and families throughout our community. Every lesson taught, every song learned, and every performance shared helps keep our culture, traditions, and musical heritage alive.

Today, we are asking for your support.

As our programs continue to grow, so does the need for instruments, instruction, supplies, and operational support. Your donation—whether a one-time gift or a monthly contribution—helps us continue offering life-changing opportunities and keeps our programs accessible to all who wish to learn.

Every dollar makes a difference.
Every gift helps preserve a tradition.
Every donor helps us Play It Forward.

🌹 Meet Rosa Martha Zárate Macías 🌹

Some people preserve history by writing about it.

Others preserve history by living it.

On Friday, June 5, Conjunto Heritage Taller and Embajada Cultural Chicana de Aztlán are honored to welcome Rosa Martha Zárate Macías to Historic Lerma’s Nite Club.

A former nun, educator, social justice advocate, and defender of former Braceros, Rosa Martha has dedicated her life to ensuring that the stories, struggles, and contributions of our communities are never forgotten.

Through her work, she has helped preserve the voices of those who helped build this nation but whose stories are too often left out of history books.

This special evening will bring together:
🪗 Conjunto Heritage Taller student performances
📖 Poetry and reflections by Nephtalí De León
🌹 Special presentation by Rosa Martha Zárate Macías
❤️ Community, culture, history, and music

As we gather in the historic home of conjunto music at Lerma’s, we invite you to join us in honoring the generations who came before us and inspiring those who will follow.

Our Play It Forward campaign continues — and your support is needed now more than ever. 🪗💛

At Conjunto Heritage Taller, students of all ages walk through the doors of Historic Lerma’s Nite Club ready to learn, grow, and carry forward the sound and legacy of conjunto music.

For more than 20 years, CHT has worked to preserve and perpetuate traditional conjunto music through accordion and bajo sexto instruction, intergenerational learning, student performances, and community programs rooted in cultura, familia, and tradition.

Today, our programs are growing — and so is the need.
We are expanding classes, preparing for youth and young adult summer camps, all female – Conjunto Las Chulas, continuing senior and veterans programming, supporting student performances, and working to make sure students have access to the instruments they need to learn.

But in these economic times, keeping classes free is more important than ever.

That is why we are asking our community to Play It Forward.

Your donation helps provide:
🪗 Student access to accordions and bajo sextos
🎶 Free conjunto music instruction
👵 Senior and veterans programming
👧 Youth and young adult camps
🎤 Student performance opportunities
🏠 Cultural programming at Historic Lerma’s Nite Club
💛 Capacity support so CHT can continue growing responsibly

Every gift makes a difference. Whether it is $25, $50, $100, or more, your support helps ensure that conjunto music remains alive, accessible, and passed on to future generations.
Please consider making a gift today and help us keep conjunto music free, strong, and growing.
