We are beyond proud to announce the first-ever graduating class from our newest Guitar for Vets location in Floresville. As part of the San Antonio Chapter, this new location was opened to bring the healing power of music closer to our veterans, and seeing these students cross the finish line is a testament to the strength of our community.

A huge round of applause for our instructor, Alesa for getting these students to the finish line.

To our graduates, you have put in the work, learned the chords, and found your voice through the strings. This is just the beginning of your musical journey. Keep playing, keep healing, and welcome to the G4V family.

On this Veterans Day, we honor and express our heartfelt gratitude to all those who have served in our Armed Forces. Your courage, sacrifice, and dedication have protected our freedoms and kept our nation strong. Thank you for your unwavering commitment, and for standing up for what is right. Today, we celebrate you and the values you uphold. Your bravery inspires us all.

Our very own Rick Chavez showing us how soothing guitar playing can be.

With it being Su***de Prevention Month, we thought it would be a great time to remind ourselves what is about.

was born out of a tragedy that shook the Veteran community. Earlier this year, a Veteran died by su***de outside a VA hospital. The act was a powerful and heartbreaking statement about the urgent need for better support and healing for those who have served.

In the aftermath, a statistic was shared that reshaped how we view the impact of su***de: for every life lost, approximately 135 others are directly affected: spouses, children, friends, fellow service members, coworkers, and entire communities. The ripple is wide and devastating.

The truth is, no technology, not even AI, can predict who will reach a moment of crisis. That’s why we focus upstream: building joy, camaraderie, and purpose through community, so Veterans feel supported and connected long before isolation, hopelessness, or thoughts of su***de take hold.

Instead of only measuring loss, we are committed to focusing on life. When one Veteran is supported, connected, and given hope, we are also protecting the 135 people around them from the ripple of su***de. Most importantly, is a message of hope.
