Congratulations Valerie Scott and Carol Muller Foy on being inducted into the International Forest of Friendship. Both of your contributions to aviation have helped inspire and lift up countless others in our community.

The International Forest of Friendship is a living, growing memorial to the world history of aviation and aerospace. If you’ve never been, add it to your bucket list so you can walk among the engraved stones of aviation supporters, record setters, and countless others who have enriched our aviation community.

Our chapter is so proud to see two of our incredible members recognized this year during the 50th anniversary celebration. Congratulations again, ladies!

Join us for Hallo-WING at Georgetown Executive Airport!

What is Hallo-WING? It’s a Halloween trunk-or-treat with an aviation twist! This free public event brings together aviators, families, and community members. Kids (with parents or guardians) collect candy from pilots showcasing creatively decorated static aircraft, each vying for the “Best Decorated Aircraft” prize. With food trucks, fun activities, and more, Hallo-WING is a celebration that soars!

What a day yesterday at Girlstart’s Back to School STEM Extravaganza! ✈️☁️

Our Chapter ran our own booth with delta wing gliders and a cloud demo station, and with so many 99s who showed up to volunteer, we were able to jump in and help at other booths too — Alka-Seltzer rocket launches and a Mars rover mission! So much fun watching the kids’ faces light up.

We wrapped up the day with a well-earned Hot Pot lunch together. Grateful for this crew and for the chance to get more kids excited about STEM and aviation. 🚀🛩️

Sometimes we just need a fun evening being around people who understand our language…Overnights, FBO‘s, missed approach, touch and goes, Oshkosh…

Our Chapter enjoyed a delicious meal at Kemuri Tatsu-Ya the food and service was fantastic! Then we went out on Lady Bird Lake guided by The Expedition School (owned by our Chapter member Kimery Duda ♥️). She and her team treated like rockstars! What a great way to start a week!
