Our FAs help families connect with resources and access the support they need. Along the way, they build relationships, listen with care, and help families take steps toward their goals.

No-cost pre-K for eligible children ages 3 & 4. Bilingual classrooms available!

Bring:
• Child’s state-issued birth certificate, immunization record and Social Security card (if applicable)
• Parent/guardian ID
• Proof of residency in your name: water/electric bill, HISD affidavit or current lease
• Custody paperwork, if applicable

Income records for all parents/guardians in the household, as applicable:
• 2025 W-2s for all jobs and Form 1040
• Last 4 pay stubs (not current month)
• All open child support cases: Jan. 2025–present
• Current SSI, TANF and SNAP award letters; Social Security benefits letter
• Grants/scholarships received
• 1098-T or account summary by term

We are grateful to Children At Risk for the opportunity to bring the voice of AVANCE San Antonio to an important conversation on September 9, 2026.

Our Executive Director was honored to participate in a panel discussion focused on the ongoing trauma children and families are experiencing during these uncertain times. These conversations matter because supporting children means understanding the environments, experiences, and challenges that shape their well-being.

Thank you to Children At Risk for creating space for leaders and advocates to come together, share perspectives, and keep children and families at the center of the conversation.
