We S.P.E.A.K. On Purpose!, would like to offer our condolences to those who were touched by the love of Eric Fox, the humor of Jay West and the friendship and guidance on and off stage from each part of him.

Jay West was a LEGEND who shared an AMAZING GIFT! His laugh was contagious. He brought life to a character like no other. S.P.E.A.K. was blessed to have him bless our stage.

What a journey!!!!!!
God has Gifted me abundantly! I am not talking about the trophies and/or crowns, though I appreciate them. I'm talking about the Gift of trust to take me through the journey, that led to the experiences which birth the stories, that earned the trophies and/or crowns.
I realize that God didn't hate me, there is nothing wrong with me, I was not predestined for "bad things or bad people" to come into my life because I was not spiritual or good enough. God simply trusted that His Daughter could go through it, trust Him, take the Gift He gave her and go minister to people with it. I thank Him for trusting me because truthfully, there have been times when I didn't even trust myself BUT God!!!! Now, We Speak On Purpose!!!
I couldn't do this alone, I hate doing this because I always fail to tag someone. If I do, know that God and I have not forgotten about you.

S.P.E.A.K. has partnered with OLLU FCIP Students Beverly Bryant & Michelle Berry to provide an LGBTQ Awareness Night Symposium, Friday, December 2, 2016 @ the Barbara Jordan Center.

Workshops from programs and agencies located @ the Barbara Jordan Center with Sam Antonio Fighting Back, Karen Chattum's & Tiffany Walker's "This Is Me," voices from an LGBTQ panel and FREE HIV testing.

You will want to be the person who witnessed this, not the person who heard about it.

Did I mention that this event is FREE and the ecperience.is PRICELESS!?!?!?!

This summer S.P.E.A.K. will deliver youth workshops Monday - Friday, 1pm-4pm beginning June 13, 2016 through August 12, 2016 with exception of July 1, 2016 and July 4, 2016 in observance of the holiday.
