🏀WE'VE GOT GAME DAY ON THE BRAIN!

🎨🖌️Ms. Mendoza-Hernandez's AP Art students ended the school year with some Countdown City spirit, showcasing their skills and attention to detail with some Spurs themed projects and paintings.

IDEA Mays ROCKS 🎸🎤 The 25-26 school year brought Theatre Arts to Mays Academy for the first time since the school launched in 2016. Ms. Villanueva, a founding teacher at IDEA Mays and our Fine Arts electives teacher hosted open auditions and rehearsals for a spring musical in February. Our take on the School of Rock Musical allowed scholars from 1st through 5th grade along with support of our CP scholars perform for an audience and showcase the incredible budding talents of our scholars.

Oh the Places You’ll Go…with IDEA Mays! ✈️

The class of 2026 ended their senior year with a bang, with our scholars visiting the Happiest Place On Earth: Disney World 🌐

Ms. Guevara, Coach Byrd, Ms. Gonzales, Coach Ybarra and Mr. Schoenmakers accompanied our 12th graders on the road trip of a life time just after AP exams were completed.

At IDEA Mays we firmly believe that hard work deserves a celebration to match, and this trip was the perfect way to close out the 25-26 school year.
