WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH SPOTLIGHT
Worthy Matron Jeanette Carter Brown —
WM Brown was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, one of 7 children. She has shared over 40 years of her life with her husband Larry W. Brown. Not only is she a wife, but a proud mother, grand mother and great grandmother. She gives unconditional love and support to her family.
Jeanette watched her father serve as Worthy Patron for many years and knew she wanted to be part of the legacy.
She is retired from the SAISD where she has made lasting impacts on many kids over the years. Her teachings included special education.
She is a pillar of strength, a compassionate leader, and a dedicated changemaker. Honoring her involves recognizing her selflessness, the tangible impact of her work, and her ability to bring people together.
She is the heart of Cubie Horton #14. She is an inspiration to all. She fights for what she cares about.
Jeanette is a force of benevolence and a true gift. She plans community service events with her chapter that involve nursing home visits, feeding the homeless, taking stuffed animals to the children's cancer unit, and raising funds for scholarships to present to graduating seniors.
Jeanette is a longtime member of NWCGC, where she has faithfully contributed for over 20+ years. Her leadership includes Past Associate Matron and currently five years serving as Worthy Matron, using her talents to strengthen the organization.
Thank You for being the spark that keeps our chapter's flame burning bright.
