Alexis Angel Ministries Alexis Angel Ministries is founded to provide gifts of love to children
and their families as they face the daily challenges of fighting childhood cancer.

AAM is a non-profit organization located in San Antonio, Texas and exists
to provide emotional, physical, and specific financial support for the patients and
their families dealing with childhood cancer in the area. We understand that living in the world of childhood cancer encompasses different
reality than others who are not experiencing childhood cancer. It is a life full of
the treatments and medical procedures, full of challenges, finding strength and
taking each day one day at a time.

We created this ministry in remembrance of a brave little girl, Alexis Nicole Steele,
who fought the battle against cancer, and earned her Angel Wings on
October 14, 2012. Her spirit of bravery and courage, her smiles and never-ending laughter,
echo in our hearts and in the hearts of all who knew her. We hope that you may embrace her smiles too!

We are here to give those children and their families a break from the disease. .

We plan to provide these families with assistance for:
~ Parking Fees
~ Gas or Fuel Expenses
~ Assistance with finding long-term lodging and managing the costs
~ Assistance with cost of meals during cancer treatments
~ Providing a 'wish list' for those children weekly, and fulfilling that wish -
usually a gift or toy with a $25.00 limit
~ Providing the parents with a home cooked meal once a week
~ Providing gift baskets for new patients and their siblings
~ Providing caregiver time of respite, by a qualified volunteer
~ Providing weekly chair massage therapy for caregivers who sleep in the hospital
with their children
