Happy Sunday, ladies! ❤️🤍💙
I hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday. I wanted to take a moment to reach out to each of you because I understand there may be some concerns about my commitment to our Auxiliary since I have not been around as much lately.
Since starting work with VIA, I have been going through training and adjusting to a new work schedule. This has required a great deal of my time and attention, but I want to be very clear about something — my commitment to our Auxiliary and my position as Madam President has not changed.
When I accepted the responsibility of serving as President, I did so because I truly care about our Auxiliary, our members, our veterans and their families, and the community we serve. Starting a new job does not take away from that commitment. It simply means I am learning how to balance my responsibilities differently.
I ask that you continue to have faith in me, support me, and trust in my ability to lead our Auxiliary. I also know that leadership is not about one person doing everything. That is why having a strong group of officers is so important. I need each of you beside me, just as I will continue to be there for each of you.
There may be times when my work schedule prevents me from physically being at the Post as often as I would like, but please don’t mistake my absence for a lack of dedication. I am still communicating, planning, working behind the scenes, and doing everything I can to fulfill the responsibilities you entrusted me with.
We have accomplished a lot together already, and there is still so much more I believe we can accomplish as a team. I want us to continue supporting one another, communicating openly, and staying focused on why we are here — our mission and service to others.
Thank you for your patience, understanding, confidence, and continued support. I am proud to serve alongside all of you, and I remain fully committed to leading our Auxiliary to the best of my ability.
Have a beautiful and blessed Sunday, ladies. ❤️🤍💙🇺🇸
For God and Country,
Stephanie
Madam President
