Summer is here🌞
We started out our summer break by providing 25 teachers & 25 students with Summer Care Bags on the last day of school 🏫
Thank you H-E-B for your generous donation & these special edition FIFA World Cup tote bags⚽️
Thank you Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas for your donation that helped purchase the items in each care bag that included:
-Detergent, Toilet Paper, Paper towels, deodorant, body wash, shampoo, toothpaste, and toothbrushes.
-Students and Teachers with siblings/babies at home also received diapers & wipes
-All 3rd-5th grade girls received feminine hygiene products (some boys kindly requested some for their big sisters & moms🥹🩷)
-The student’s favorite parts were the tote bag & picking out which color loofa they got☺️

Thank you to everyone for your support as we tried our best to stay active with this dream of ours while working our full time jobs! We really have the best community 💚

We are excited to share that we have been awarded a matching dollar grant of $2,000 from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas!🥳

We received $20 for EVERY HOUR that BCBSTX staff volunteered in their donation drive for items for Bexar and Beyond! 🫶🏼

This began as their efforts to help us provide essential items to Kerr County after the flood, and continued into supporting our ongoing services in the local community! 💜

We are always so thankful for their support, and love that BCBSTX staff stay ready to give back! 💙

We’re excited to announce a little Christmas Collaboration with Sara Lucy🎄

This Friday we will be having holiday distribution hosted at Street Peace Thrift Store🧑🏼‍🎄🎅🏽

No registration required & first come first serve while inventory lasts💝

All are welcome, with a focus on lightweight hygiene products for our unhoused community 🤍

If you would like to contribute donations to this event, feel free to drop off items Friday at 10:30☺️
