🚨 We need your help — TODAY. 🚨

A Recovery Place is facing an unexpected financial emergency this month. Someone illegally used our dumpster and filled it improperly, leaving us with a large, unplanned charge from our dumpster company. Through no fault of our own, we are now short on funds for the very space where we serve our community every single day.

We are not ones to ask for help lightly — but right now, we need it.

Beginning this Friday!!

Starting next Friday at 5:00 PM, we are opening our doors for a new Peer Support Group. This is not a clinical session or a formal lecture. It is a space for us to sit down and talk about the realities of life in recovery. This group is led by people who have been exactly where you are. If you have been looking for a place to share your story or just listen to others who understand the struggle, join us. No registration is required. Just show up as you are and find your community.

Removing the Barriers to Connection
Many parents tell us they want to attend a meeting but they do not have anyone to watch their children. We believe that being a parent should never be a barrier to getting the support you deserve. Our facility includes a dedicated childrens room located within earshot of our meeting area. You can participate in your group with the peace of mind that your kids are safe and nearby. Your recovery matters to your family and your family matters to us. Come visit us and see how we have prepared a space for all of you.

A Recovery Place was built on a simple idea. We believe that recovery in San Antonio is possible when people have access to resources, services, and most importantly, each other. We are not just a building or a program. We are a community of people with lived experience who understand the courage it takes to walk through the door. Whether you are celebrating years of clean time or you are still trying to find your footing, there is a place for you here. We are located right in your neighborhood and we are ready to walk beside you.
