The San Antonio Gender Association aspires to improve and uplift the lives of transgender and gender diverse individuals in the greater San Antonio area by providing community, support, resources, outreach, and social & volunteer programs.

We're implementing a hybrid style meeting both in-person and over zoom for those who cannot make the in-person meeting.

This Week's Topic: We're in the middle of the holiday season, just after Thanksgiving and going into the winter holidays. This week we're continuing the conversation around family members and holiday gatherings. What frustrations have you encountered with family gatherings and what are you expecting with the remaining holidays?

Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities
With our new Non Profit status, we want to give back to the wider San Antonio community and act as ambassadors of the transgender community. We are currently exploring opportunities to volunteer with the City of San Antonio Parks and Recreation Department.

The San Antonio Gender Association is partnering with the San Antonio Public Library for Transgender Day of Remembrance Monday, Nov. 20.

TDoR is a day we remember those in the transgender community who have lost their lives due to violence this year.

As we approach the holiday season family time increases and no matter where you are in your journey being prepared for interactions is important. With that being said let's talk about one of our favorite holiday topics boundaries. What are boundaries, how can we enforce them while keeping ourselves safe, what are the purpose of boundaries, and what are so good boundaries that you personally use for your health?
