Tubing Against Cancer

Tubing Against Cancer The page is designed to help raise awareness about cancer and help the patients' affected by this disease. It Doesn't Discriminate. God Bless You All!!!

I started this benefit in late '09 after four of my family members were diagnosed
with the disease, three for the first time and one(my mother) for her second time. I wanted to help in some way to raise awareness to so many others, like me, that
cancer doesn't discriminate on who you are, what color you are, how old you are,
or how poor or wealthy you are. Since I was born, my family has been tak

ing me and my brother to the Guadalupe
River at every chance we got. I have always loved being on the river. Being
surrounded by loved ones. Being one with nature in God's most amazing place, the
Texas Hill Country. I wanted to help raise awareness while doing something that
I've loved all my life and that's tubing the Guadalupe, and so I started this event,
Tubing for Cancer. Let's help out our fellow man, family, friends, and loved ones
that we hold dear to hour hearts and let's make a difference. I want to Thank all the volunteers, artists, my family and friends that have helped
me put on these events to help raise awareness and much needed funds for
cancer research and patients. I couldn't have done this without y'all. If you'd like to donate your time at the event or have an event you'd like put up
on our page, feel free to email me at anytime.

Well, TAC23 is in the books and here shortly we’ll be gearing up for next year’s event. In the meantime, if you attended and have pictures of the artists, we’d really appreciate it if you added some to this post or started your own post on the page. I was trying to get as much as I could, but certainly wasn’t enough of everyone. Thank you all again for coming and supporting Discovery Camps and the children that will be attending this amazing escape from the normalcy of hospitals for these kids. Thank you to The Gruene Light & Rockin R River Rides for having us out and making this transition such an easy one, top notch service!! We WILL be back and bigger! If anyone that couldn’t attend and would like merch, we still have fishing shirts(S-XXL), koozies, and cups for sale! Thank you artists, volunteers, friends and family that made this all possible!!
