Our October calendar is here, and we have a spook-tacular month planned for our RMI Life Enrichment Program! 💜🧡

From museums 🏛️ and train rides 🚂 to Lunch Bunch, volunteering, culinary arts, music, pumpkin carving 🎃, and of course our Halloween Party 👻🥳 — there’s plenty of fun headed our way!

We’re ready to get out in the community, try new things, spend time with friends, and make some amazing memories together! 🍂✨

October is going to be BOO-tiful! 👻🎃 Let the fun begin!

🌿🌺 Sunshine, smiles, and a whole lot of FUN! ☀️😄💚

Our RMI crew had an AMAZING time out in the community exploring the San Antonio Botanical Gardens! 🌸🌴 We enjoyed checking out all the beautiful plants, taking a relaxing nature walk, laughing, talking, and simply enjoying each other’s company! 🥰🌿

Fresh air + beautiful scenery + great company = the PERFECT day! 💚🙌🏾 Our participants had a blast, and we loved making more memories together! 📸✨

Days like this are what it’s all about! 🌺🌿☀️

🚐💙 The Big Give site is officially OPEN! 💙🚐

For 44 years, Reaching Maximum Independence, Inc. has supported adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in living with greater independence, dignity, and opportunity.

This year, our campaign supports an urgent need. An unexpected accident recently totaled the van serving one of our RMI group homes. We are incredibly grateful that our residents and staff are safe, but we now need our community’s help to replace this vital vehicle.

A new van will help restore reliable transportation for medical appointments, community outings, daily activities, and the independence our residents deserve.

🌱🪴 Look at what we’ve grown! 🪴🌱

Our participants have been working hard planting and caring for their plants, and today we brought them out to see the results! 💚 They were so happy and proud to see what they accomplished. There’s nothing better than watching their hard work grow right before their eyes! 🌿🌱

🎶✨ What an amazing experience! ✨🎶

Our RMI family had an absolute BLAST at the Tobin Center watching the talented ladies of the South Texas Symphonic Orchestra! 🎻🎺🎶 The performance was incredible, and our participants truly enjoyed every moment. ❤️

We love giving our participants opportunities to experience the arts, music, and all the wonderful things our community has to offer. The smiles said it all! 🥰👏🏾

Today we had a blast at Raising Cane's! 🍗🍟❤️ Our RMI family enjoyed some good food, lots of laughs, and even better company! We left with full bellies, big smiles, and plenty of laughter with one another. 😊😂

It’s the simple moments like these that make the best memories! We love getting out into the community and enjoying quality time together! 💙🙌🏾

What an amazing day at the San Antonio Museum of Art ! 🎨🖼️ Our RMI family had a wonderful time exploring the museum and enjoying all the beautiful and unique pieces of art. We love providing opportunities for our participants to get out into the community, experience new things, learn, and most importantly have FUN! 💙😊

Mondays are for giving back! 💙🙌🏽

Today we spent our Monday serving our community by delivering meals to the elderly with Meals on Wheels San Antonio🚗🍽️❤️ AND putting our cooking skills to work during cooking class with our very own personal chef! San Antonio Food Bank👨🏽‍🍳🥘

Giving back, learning new skills, and having fun while doing it! Gotta love Mondays! 🥰💙
