The annual event of Project Un Dia A La Ves (Project One Day at a Time) was a resounding success, thanks to our collaboration with the Madonna Center on Castroville Rd. The event was marked by an atmosphere of excitement and gratitude, with everyone expressing their heartfelt thanks. We are deeply grateful to all who contributed and donated to this worthy cause. We also extend our appreciation to those who participated in today's event and generously gave their time for a fun-filled Loteria fun. May God bless everyone, and we wish you a Merry Christmas.

It’s that time of year! It’s our 8th Annual Project Un Dia A La Ves (Project One Day at a Time) and we need your help to fulfill this years Project, this is your opportunity to give to those who can use a little help, encouragement and a blessing! Please give if you can!

This year we will be sponsoring a “Bingo” at the Madonna Neighborhood Center which is located on the Westside of San Antonio, off of Castroville Road. For over 80 years, the Madonna Center has been committed to breaking the cycle of generational poverty by supporting families with quality childhood education, connections to resources, and social services. As a United Way Agency, Madonna has provided numerous social services to low-income families on the Westside San Antonio.

We will be playing 10 games of Bingo with prizes valued from $20.00 - $40 each… with the final game being worth over $100.00.

After each game we will have 2 door prizes with Gift Cards valued at $20.00 - $25.00 each! We will have a total of 20 door prizes. You can help by buying a gift yourself or by donating monetarily to the project !

Food and refreshments will also be served! The event date tentatively set for Saturday December 20th from 1-4pm!

Yesterday was our 8th Annual Project Un Dia A La Ves and we drove around town delivering one Blessing Bag at a time to the homeless and/or displaced individuals. We started on I10 and drove down Culebra to Zarzamora by the Alanzan Courts, back towards SW. Military Dr, then drove towards Marbach Rd., then drove all of the way down San Pedro, and ended up by Vance Jackson/West Avenue. We prayed for some and some even prayed for us, but all were grateful! We had more woman and children than years before. The toys given to the kids was the best, they were so happy. Thank you to everyone who donated towards this years Project, without you none of this would be successful! Until next year, God bless and Merry Christmas! ❤️

Project Un Dia A La Ves has officially stopped accepting donations! We have secured enough donations and funds to fill 95 mens, 30 women’s and 25 children’s blessing bags! All Blessing Bags will be distributed this Saturday December 21st! Thank you to everyone who donated items, funds or participated in the 50/50 (R)affle!

“Project Un Dia A La Ves (Project One Day at a Time) needs your help to fulfill this years Project, this year we have decided to go back to our roots by providing those that need it the most with one blessing at a time with a Blessing Bag filled with much needed toiletries and a few items to eat.

Our next Project date is scheduled for Saturday December 21st. We have less than 6 weeks of fundraising to gather at least 75 Men’s, 50 Women’s and 25 Children’s Blessing Bags. Please let me know if you'd like to help!

Each blessing bag will consist of the following:

3&1 Shampoo / Body Wash
Hairbrush or Comb
Deodorant
Toothbrush
Toothpaste
Hand sanitizer
Shaving Razers
Q-Tip
Chap Stick
Candy Bar or Snack

- - Woman’s - -

Bar Soap
Deodorant

You can buy the items needed to fill the blessing bags, or you can create a few bags yourself and monetary donations are always welcomed. Each bag is valued at approximately $10 each, share what you can!
