On behalf of the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word, we extend our heartfelt prayers and deepest condolences to the Mugica family and the entire Incarnate Word High School community on the tragic passing of Mrs. Salazar Mugica and her husband, Carlos Mugica IV.

We remember with gratitude Mrs. Salazar Mugica’s faithful leadership and lasting impact on the lives of so many students and families. We hold especially close in prayer Carlie Jo Mugica ’14 and Taylor Mugica Onofre ’17, and all who mourn this profound loss.

May God grant them eternal rest and surround their loved ones with His peace and comfort.

The Incarnate Word High School community is heartbroken by the tragic passing of former IWHS Principal Mrs. Salazar Mugica and her husband, Carlos Mugica IV.

Mrs. Salazar Mugica served IWHS from August 2015 through May 2018, leading our school community with dedication, care, and a deep commitment to our students, faculty, and families.

During this difficult time, we especially hold in prayer Carlie Jo Mugica ’14 and Taylor Mugica Onofre ’17, daughters of Carlos Mugica and beloved members of our IWHS alumnae community.

We ask our Shamrock family to join us in praying for the Mugica family, their loved ones, and all who are grieving this tremendous loss.
