👋👨‍👩‍👦What is a welcome family? Welcome families act as temporary families for students while their local coordinator searches for a permanent home. This is a short-term option of 4-6 weeks, compared to a year or semester of hosting a student!

🌏BE A HOST FAMILY🌏.....Now is the time of year we need to place our students. We have incredible students from several different countries.🇨🇿🇵🇱🇧🇷🇪🇸🇩🇪🇮🇹 You would volunteer to host the students. Students come with spending money for daily essentials, trips etc. They come with medical insurance. You would provide our four basic requirements for host families:

🛏 to provide a bed that is not convertible in fashion

🥣to provide three meals a day and snacks for the student

🚌 to provide or secure transportation to and from the high school and activities. Kiddos can take the school bus if available.

🏠Lastly, to provide a caring home interested in learning more about the student’s culture as well as sharing the culture of your local community with your student.

I am seeking a kind and caring host family for Adam, a student from the Czech Republic age 16, who will be studying in the US for the 2024-2025 school year. Adam is an enthusiastic individual who is very active in boy scouts, plays multiple instruments, loves to cook, read scifi books and play board games. Adam also speaks 4 languages!
