Attention Heroes! 🚨 disABILITYsa is hosting their 20th annual AccessAbility fest on Saturday, October 3rd at Travis Park! ‼️It's a great opportunity for earning service hours while supporting inclusivity in San Antonio! ❤️It's one of San Antonio's largest events celebrating the disability community including various different activities and organizations, with many opportunities to learn and connect! Hello future healthcare heroes!🦸
UIW’s Ettling Center and the San Antonio Food Bank are hosting a community-focused session, and all students, faculty, and staff are welcome to join.
The event will cover new and proposed legislation, local and state resources, and will give you the chance to share your questions and feedback directly with the speakers. You’ll also have the opportunity to speak one‑on‑one with representatives from the UIW Ettling Center, the San Antonio Food Bank, and State Representative Diego Bernal.
This is a great opportunity to learn about current initiatives in our community, discuss food insecurity, and let local organizations know how they can better support you.

Future Healthcare Heroes is hosting a fun and informative day designed for children with special needs and their parents. Our mission is to provide a welcoming and supportive environment where families can learn, connect, and have a great time together.
At the fair, parents can meet professional organizations like Therapy 2000, Special Reach, and Any Baby Can to gather important resources and guidance for their child. While parents explore these resources, children can enjoy hands-on activities such as making sensory bottles, decorating capes, decorating face masks, and face painting. All crafts are theirs to take home.
Families will also enjoy pizza from Big Louie’s and drinks throughout the event. Future Healthcare Heroes is proud to create a space where families are empowered and kids are heroes too!
