Future Healthcare Heroes is hosting a fun and informative day designed for children with special needs and their parents. Our mission is to provide a welcoming and supportive environment where families can learn, connect, and have a great time together.
At the fair, parents can meet professional organizations like Therapy 2000, Special Reach, and Any Baby Can to gather important resources and guidance for their child. While parents explore these resources, children can enjoy hands-on activities such as making sensory bottles, decorating capes, decorating face masks, and face painting. All crafts are theirs to take home.
Families will also enjoy pizza from Big Louie’s and drinks throughout the event. Future Healthcare Heroes is proud to create a space where families are empowered and kids are heroes too!

Hello Future Healthcare Heroes! 🦸 Are you looking for volunteer service hours ?!
On April 25th, we are hosting 3rd Annual FHH Fair and we need as much help as possible! Our fair consists of resources for families that have children with special needs and fun activities.
For volunteering, we need help with:
- setting up for the event and cleaning up
- floating: helping other students organizations with tabling activities for the children or being a team player and helping out when needed throughout the event.

If you’re looking for something to boost your resume this summer, The Jackson Laboratory (JAX) is running two free virtual cancer genomics programs from July 13 – 24, 2026.
It’s a great chance to learn how to interpret genomics data and network with actual cancer researchers.
Here are the two ways to join:
Summer Institute (15-20 hrs): Application-based, live attendance required, includes a guided inquiry project and a JAX Digital Badge.
Short Course (6-10 hrs):
More flexible/asynchronous, focused on live sessions and discussion boards, ends with a Certificate of Completion.
Requirements: You just need to be an undergrad at a US college with at least one year finished.
