(RMYA) has provided safety for children in crisis since 1976 with residential & counseling services to end the cycle of abuse & violence: Emergency Shelter services; TurningPoint Transitional & Independent Living Program for homeless young adults and former & extended foster youth; RMYA Family Counseling & Resource Center with individual & group counseling & community psychiatric services for chil

dren & youth; RMYA Meadowland campus, our long-term residential programs for foster children with emotional/behavioral needs from past abuse; and
MeadowLand Charter District charter schools for at-risk students. Roy Maas once said "People need three things to be happy: someone to love, something constructive to do with their time and something to look forward to." As key people in the lives of the youth we serve, RMYA works to provide an environment for these things to happen. Our children have many obstacles to overcome & we provide the help & tools they need to understand they can lead a positive life & become productive citizens in our community.

As we look back on an awesome summer, we’re grateful that Camp Aranzazu helped us wrap it up with one more unforgettable experience. ☀️🏕️

From trying new activities and exploring the outdoors to building confidence and making lasting memories, camp gave RMYA children the opportunity to explore, connect, laugh, and simply be kids.

A very special thank-you to the generous RMYA donors who made this experience possible! It’s the support of our community that gives the children and youth we serve opportunities like this—opportunities they might not otherwise have—and memories they’ll carry with them long after summer ends. 💙

A new school year brings new opportunities for growth, healing, and hope. Every child deserves to begin the year feeling prepared, confident, and supported.

Thanks to our community, which came together to drop off school supplies at H-E-B for Communities In Schools of San Antonio's , the children and youth at RMYA are heading back to school with the supplies they need for a strong start. 🎒✏️📚 We are incredibly grateful to all the donors, volunteers, and supporters who gave their time and resources to make this possible.

❤️ We’re taking a moment to look back on a wonderful evening hosted by Viola’s Huge Heart Foundation on July 27 at Viola’s Ventanas, celebrating youth in foster care.

Our youth and staff enjoyed a memorable night filled with dinner, live music, face painting, snow cones, photo booths, and more. Beyond the fun, the evening was a meaningful reminder of the strength, resilience, and individuality of the incredible young people we serve.

Thank you to Viola's Huge Heart Foundation, Viola's Ventanas and our community partners for helping create experiences filled with joy, connection, and lasting memories. ✨
