We’re still glowing from the joy of graduation, and we want to keep that energy going! From June 14–21, we’re inviting all recent AVANCE graduates and proud alumni to share your stories and favorite memories.

Your voice can inspire others to begin their own journey with AVANCE—and we’d love to hear what the program meant to you.

We are excited to announce Yesenia Alvarez-Gonzalez as the new Executive Director of AVANCE San Antonio! 🎉

With over 25 years of service, Yesenia began her journey as a Parent Educator and has since continued to be a leader across our programs. Her passion for supporting families, combined with her inspiring personal story as the daughter of Mexican immigrants and a first-generation college graduate, makes her the perfect leader for this new chapter.

Congratulations, Yesenia! We can’t wait to see how you’ll continue to grow and strengthen AVANCE's impact.

All AVANCE services stem from the foundation of PCEP. Families attend once a week, Monday–Thursday, from September to May. Our comprehensive services are designed to enhance parents' child-rearing skills, fostering healthy development and ensuring school readiness for their children.

It's OFFICIALLY summer!... Not that we needed the reminder—it's been 90 degrees for a month already! 🔥 Here are a few things to keep in mind about summer safety as you and your family try and keep cool:

🌊 Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Water is key to keeping happy and healthy in warm weather.
🌞 Don't forget your sunscreen EVERYTIME you head outside.
🏖️ Remain vigillent when you and your kids are around any body of water.
