The Harlandale ISD Scheh Center campus (named after Margaret Canfield & Cheryl Conway's great grandfather, C.A. Scheh) held the ribbon cutting of the new Edmundo Zaragoza Multipurpose Center for graduations, basketball, symposiums, concerts, etc. It was attended by SATP members Margaret Canfield, Cheryl & Pat Conway, Jacki McAnear, Karen Rogers, & Sandy Salinas. - This was an event in accordance with the SATP Constitution, "The purpose of this association shall be to keep alive Texas history, perpetuate Texas traditions and cultivate friendly relations between the Pioneers of Texas and their descendants; and also, to establish and maintain landmarks, historical museums and institutions, calculated to carry out the educational, social and charitable purposes of the Association."

Texas Pioneer's were invited to attend the ribbon cutting of the Zaragoza Multipurpose Center at the Scheh Center, Harlandale ISD.

Congratulations to Margaret England Canfield and Cheryl Conway on this wonderful addition to the Scheh Center, named for their grandfather.

Something to read and visit

The largest collection of Lonesome Dove props and material is at the Witliff Collection in San Marcos. They have all of the costumes, guns, and props. They were donated by Bill Witliff who wrote the screenplay for Lonesome Dove. It is all on the Texas State University campus in San Marcos. Well worth a visit!!!
