Meet one-eyed Cindy, our B2L House Chicken!
She took very well to chicken diapers and will follow her “mom” everywhere, and now even helps typing on the computer 😳..
Cindy is very energetic and the brief midday naps will keep her going from dusk till dawn!

Milo has had a VERY BUSY 2 weeks in recovery!!
And what a difference it makes!!

We removed this baby from a literal infested dump 2 weeks ago!.. he had an emergency surgery to save his leg, multiple bacterial infections in the intestines, lungs, and abscessed band, malnourished, and mentally and emotionally damaged from the neglect and abandonment…

Fast forward to now, he progressing by leaps and bounds!

Showering, snuggling, trusting hands, getting more confident with his “step up” (leg and feet are healing well) and finally finding his voice (meaning the lungs are clearing up, too!), and trying soo many new foods! (And saying Yum!!)

Needed immediately, part-time, any day, 9:30 - 2:30, 3 day minimum including at least 1 day per weekend. $12 per hour. Please only long term commitments, no seasonal jobs. You will be in charge of cage maintenance and bird care for our feathered companions. Hands-on bird handling required after extensive training.

The position requires the ability to speak, read and write English. Bird experience is a plus, reliability and diligence is a must. Driver license and reliable transportation required. We may conduct background and reference checks. Please email your resume with a cover letter for consideration.
