Our final featured artist for the upcoming MESH event on 1/28 is !!! Ms. Kiona will be collaborating alongside ! Don’t miss them!

Hailing from the land of music, Kiona Reese, is a dynamic powerhouse vocalist from Tennessee. Kiona has gone from performing in regional theaters across the United States, touring with theaters along the west coast, to a multi contracted lead production vocalist on the high seas. As an accredited teacher and forever student to the craft, Kiona’s goal is to create, educate, share, and experience the most unapologetic human experience with her community and the people that surround her.

Collaborating with will be the lovely dancer ….

Sarah Starkweather is a professional dancer and fitness trainer who has performed for the last 12 years throughout New York, California, the Midwest & Texas. Sarah has worked with choreographers Jennifer Archibald, Liz Imperio, Amanda Selwyn, Matt Luck, Jennifer Medina, Ashley McQueen and Ashlé Dawson among other innovative contemporary, commercial, and theatrical artists. Sarah is a PMA Pilates Mat Certified Instructor and is recognized by Equinox for being a Top 50 Group Fitness Instructor worldwide. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She bases her work on expressive integrity and technical quality, reconciling discord with grace.

Justin Boyd is an artist and educator working in San Antonio, TX. He graduated from the University of Texas in San Antonio with a BFA in Ceramics and finished his MFA in Integrated Media at The California Institute of the Arts.
He is an Assistant Professor of New Media and Sculpture at the University of Texas at San Antonio, plays music in a space country band and continues his long-standing radio show each week on KRTU 91.7 FM

The next artist that will be performing in the upcoming MESH is ! Check him out!!

Nick Mery (aka Merykid) is a Lebanese-American artist based in San Antonio, Tx. Mery’s work in music and film has been met with critical acclaim throughout the world, most recently via his award-winning experimental documentary, In Dreams.
In 2022, Mery and collaborator released Deathbloom, a lofi-indie jazz album exploring the aftermath of the 2021 Texas freeze.

Check out .b.groovin - Albert Corbett will be returning to MESH for the third time! This time he will be collaborating with in the next event on January 28. Here’s a little bit about him and his experience in dance ….

Albert Corbett is 32 years old and was born and raised in Pascagoula, MS and now living in San Antonio, TX. Albert has danced for 15 years now and has a dance background of ballet, modern, contemporary, poppin, krump, and house. Mr. Corbett has been apart of NXG Dance Crew for three years now. He’s also apart of the local SMASH outreach program in which they give dance classes to inner city youth. Albert is also a military veteran.
