A New Life for a New Generation is looking for dedicated volunteers who can give a couple of days each week for one month to help us reorganize, rebuild, and strengthen our programs as we prepare to better serve our community.

We are currently revamping our organization, organizing supplies, updating programs, assisting families, and preparing for future events. Your time and talents can make a real difference!

Volunteer opportunities include:

* 📁 Office organization and paperwork
* 📦 Sorting donations and inventory
* 👕 Organizing the clothing closet
* 🎉 Event planning and community outreach

This morning my heart is heavy, but my spirit is stronger than ever.

I’ve come to realize that not everyone appreciates the sacrifices you make or the love you pour into others. Sometimes you can go above and beyond, only to be overlooked or taken for granted. That’s a painful lesson, but it’s also a necessary one.

I’ve learned that sometimes you have to step back, protect your peace, and stop feeling obligated to carry everyone else’s burdens. The devil is a lie, and I refuse to let negativity steal my joy or my purpose.

Today, I choose me. I choose healing. I choose peace. I choose to get my life in order and focus on the goals God has placed before me. I will continue to love people, but I will no longer neglect myself in the process.

This season is about growth, boundaries, and becoming the best version of myself. I’m choosing to do things for Kisha, and I’m not apologizing for it.

God has too much in store for me to keep pouring into places that don’t pour back into me.

I pray today brings you peace, clarity, and the reminder that taking care of yourself is not selfish—it’s necessary. ❤️
