The Arsenal Boys decided last minute to jump in the NCS South Coast World Series and the boys had themselves a great time🙏🏽🔥 This experience was a little different due to the fact we were down 2 players. Big Ryan Ortiz and Daniel Hernandez. Both these boys are home run hitters for us so playing without them was far from ideal. Thankfully, we had a few friends willing to step up and help us out. Juanito Damian, Ramiro Barajas and Josiah Morales from Diamond Dawgs and Tito Garza💪🏽 The Arsenal boys would like to thank you all for taking the field with us and battling it out🙏🏽

While we came out on top, getting there was not easy. The boys went 3-1 in pool play, earning the #3 seed. The loss came on Saturday night vs Texas Primetime (TPT), final score 8-2 which was later changed to 8-0 with our HC approval. These boys have never been held to zero. Never been beat down so badly aside from our losses to Showtime Gutierrez and Mafia Elite lol but never by a team in our own age group…So you can imagine the shock and disbelief these boys felt when the blue called ball game. It was a real eye opener/reality check reminding the boys that the game doesn’t owe you anything. If you don’t step on the field ready to compete, anyone can beat you. After a quick heart to heart with coaches, the boys were ready to put the loss behind them and mentally prepare for bracket in the AM.

The next morning we won our 8:00am pool game to set up a rematch with the team that beat us the night before and let me tell you, these boys were beyond excited and motivated to get back on the field with Primetime. The way they responded to the loss is what I’m most proud of. No fear, no doubt, no nerves…the Arsenal Boys were on a mission. Needless to say, the boys won that game by run rule (12-3) and went on to beat a good Pasadena Sluggers team in the final.

2026 7U NCS South Coast World Series Champions🥇☝🏽🔥
