Join us as we welcome Amanda Gonzalez as our new Development Manager overseeing our Do What You Love & New Braunfels Walk! She brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and talents to our mission.

A San Antonio native, Amanda has built her career in nonprofit leadership, community outreach, fundraising, and public service, with a commitment to strengthening organizations and improving the lives of the people they serve.

Amanda earned her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership Policy from Texas Tech University, a Master of Arts in International Relations from St. Mary’s University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Baylor University.

Throughout her career, Amanda has worked alongside community partners, volunteers, donors, and organizations to advance meaningful initiatives and connect people with opportunities to make an impact. She is especially passionate about building authentic relationships and bringing people together around a shared mission.

As Development Manager for the Alzheimer’s Association, Amanda looks forward to engaging the San Antonio community, strengthening partnerships, and helping generate the resources necessary to advance the Association’s mission of ending Alzheimer’s and all other dementia.
