Today was National Lemonade Day, and we had a little fun celebrating our amazing Silos teachers and staff! 🌟

We rolled out a yellow-themed Refreshment Cart filled with snacks, bottled water, and different lemon flavor packets to give our staff a little pick-me-up throughout the day. 🍋🥤

It may have been a small gesture, but we hope it added a little sunshine to their day and reminded them just how appreciated they are! 💛

Meet the Teacher was BUSY and we loved every minute of it! 🐾❤️🧡

Last night was a BIG one! The lines were long, the kid shirts SOLD OUT, the PTO table stayed moving, and we got to see so many familiar faces while welcoming new ones. 🥰
But more than anything, we loved seeing our Silos community show up. 🐾

A HUGE thank you to everyone who stopped by, joined PTO, purchased a shirt, asked questions, being very patient and/or simply came by to say hello.

And to our Silos Admin and Staff~Thank You for welcoming us back and helping us kick off another amazing school year. ❤️

This is just the beginning, Cubs. 🚀

Last but certainly not least in our Meet the 2026–2027 Silos PTO Board series is our Communications Secretary, Leilani Ortiz! 🧡

Get to know Leilani, learn a little about her family, her journey as a military spouse and stay-at-home mom turned substitute teacher, why she joined PTO, and her goal of making our PTO communications more personal, inclusive, and connected.

As Communications Secretary, Leilani is excited to help keep our families informed, showcase all the amazing things happening at Silos, and encourage even more family and community involvement. ❤️🧡🤍
