The Dawn of Interdependence: Navigating Our Global Growing Pains

In a world rife with conflict, environmental degradation, and social inequality, it's easy to feel overwhelmed. Yet, what if we reframed our current challenges as 'growing pains'? As the world grapples with unprecedented changes, we are, in essence, experiencing the adolescence of human consciousness.

The Age of Revelation

We are entering the 'Age of Aquarius,' an era marked by the uncovering of new knowledge. The term 'Apocalypse'—often associated with end times—actually means 'revelation' or 'uncovering.' This is a period of collective awakening, where the unconscious becomes conscious.

From "I am that I am" to "I am because of you"

Traditional religious and philosophical frameworks often emphasize individuality and separation—"I am that I am." However, as we evolve, this mantra must transform into "I am because of you," acknowledging our interdependence with all life forms.

The Declaration of Interdependence

In June 2021, Carbon Capture Shield made its first social media post, a "Declaration of Interdependence." This declaration is a call to action, urging us to shift from a mindset of domination to one of stewardship. It recognizes that all life is interconnected and that we have a moral and ethical responsibility to act as protectors rather than plunderers.

Current World Events as Growing Pains

Whether it's the Israel-Palestine conflict, climate change, or social unrest, these are not isolated incidents but symptoms of a collective psyche in turmoil. They are our 'growing pains,' urging us to mature from independence to interdependence.

The Path Forward

As stewards, we have the obligation to protect all life, recognizing that where we go one, we go all. It's time to outgrow past mistakes and bad habits, to learn from these growing pains and usher in an era of global interdependence.

Let's remember that this choice must be truly free and not coerced. We each must choose.

This is The Great Awakening.

Did you know that Henry Ford dreamed of a “Farm-connected, Decentralized Industry” that would harmonize industry and nature?

Ford created Village Industries: small factories in rural areas that used water power to make products for his cars. He hired local farmers who could balance their work and farm life. He also used plants grown onsite to make food, fuel and plastic for his cars.

At Green Island, NY (construction pictured), Ford purchased 189 acres to build a hydroelectric dam to power his largest factory to date, which was completed in 1923.

Powered by the Hudson River for more than a half century, the Green Island Ford Plant became Ford’s key facility for the company’s Engine & Foundry division, employing about 900 workers per year for 65-years; until it was closed in 1988.

Henry Ford wanted to reduce waste, save energy and promote health. He was a pioneer of “green manufacturing” and sustainable agriculture. His legacy inspires us to follow his footsteps and find creative ways to protect the environment while supporting rural communities.

What if I told you that the secret to saving the world from climate change lies beneath your feet? That the soil is alive with microscopic creatures that can capture carbon from the air and transform it into organic matter? That by harnessing these creatures, we can regenerate our lands, our crops and our health?

Sounds like science fiction, right? But it's not. It's science fact. And it's happening right now.

In this video, Dr. David Johnson, a leading researcher in soil microbiology and regenerative agriculture, reveals how he and his colleagues are unlocking the potential of soil microbes to create a more sustainable and resilient future for humanity and the planet.

This is not a fantasy. This is not a hoax. This is real. And it's fascinating.

Watch the video and learn more about this groundbreaking discovery that could change everything.

P.S. Some people may wonder why we need to capture carbon from the air if CO2 is not a problem. They may argue that CO2 is a natural and beneficial gas that plants need to grow.

But they are missing a crucial piece of the puzzle: carbon is not only a gas, but also a solid. A solid that used to be abundant in our soils, but has been lost over time due to human activities.

We have depleted our soils of carbon by plowing, tilling, burning and overgrazing them. We have released billions of tons of carbon from the soil into the atmosphere, where it contributes to global warming and climate change.

So we don't need to remove carbon from our atmosphere as much as we need to get it back into our soil - using plants as solar-powered carbon pumps.

By growing diverse and perennial plants on our lands, we can increase soil organic matter and sequester carbon in the soil. This can improve crop yields, soil health and human health while also mitigating climate change.

This is not a debate. This is not a controversy. This is an opportunity.

Don't miss it.

Have you seen the new “Polar Wildlife Report” from the “Global Warming Policy Foundation”?

They were SHOCKED to find wildlife and nature BOOMING:

“There were no reports from either hemisphere in 2022 that would suggest polar wildlife is suffering as a result of reduced sea-ice extent;

overall primary productivity (plant photosynthesis) has increased;

a new sea-ice predictive model acknowledges previous flaws and does not predict a future decline until 2050 at the earliest.”

We’re all for taking better care of our planet - but we do NOT support “climate alarmism” nor pretending CO2 is the problem.

The climate always changes, and plants are nature’s terraformers - creating stable microclimates and even controlling the weather.

We should ALL take better care of living ecosystems, and recognize that we exist because of them. Our food, fuel, fiber - even our water and oxygen - all come from living ecosystems.

Even oil is supposedly fossilized remains of ancient life.

Let’s take care of that life, as stewards!

Can you spot the difference in these two aerial photographs?

They are of the same patch of land, but taken six-months apart.

The February photo is how decades of mismanagement had left the land.

The September photo is what saved the lives of thousands of villagers - WATER!

The villagers were deceived (for decades) by those who should have protected them. Their livelihoods were destroyed by a false promise of progress. Their lands were poisoned by chemicals and monocultures.

Their despair drove 400,000 Indian farmers to take their own lives (since the “green revolution" took root).

But some of them refused to give up hope. They chose to reclaim their ancestral wisdom and restore their sacred relationship with nature. They became the guardians of a new revolution.

In this short film, we will witness their remarkable journey and see how they have transformed their barren fields into thriving oases of life.

This video explores the wonders of natural farming in India, when the people take back their power by taking action to literally reshape their community.

How We Are Breaking the Water Cycle and How We Can Fix It

Do you know how water moves around our planet? Do you know what happens when we interfere with this natural cycle? Do you know how we can restore it?

Water is essential for life on Earth. It travels from the oceans to the sky, from the sky to the land, and from the land back to the oceans. This is called the water cycle.

But we are breaking the water cycle by cutting down trees and plants and destroying soil. These living things help water ev***rate into the air and form clouds. Without them, there is less water v***r in the air, which means less rainfall, more droughts, and more floods.

We are also breaking the water cycle by designing modern landscapes that drain water quickly to rivers, lakes and the ocean. These artificial surfaces prevent water from soaking into the ground and being filtered by natural processes. Instead, they carry pollutants that harm aquatic life and human health.

This animation explains how we are breaking the water cycle and how we can fix it. It is based on decades of research by scientists who have studied how vegetation and soil affect climate.

Watch this animation to learn more about the water cycle and how we can protect it. Share it with your friends and family. Join us in considering the water cycle and restoring soil health.

Together, we can save our planet’s precious water by saving our soil!

This right here is the problem CAUSING droughts and flood: DRAINING WATER AWAY FROM THE LANDSCAPE.

Rain is supposed to be soaked into the ground by a living carpet of plants and trees, feeding subsoil life that turns dirt into a “soil sponge” that soaks up megaliters of water: both preventing floods while releasing this water during droughts.

Modern cities and suburbs are designs to DRAIN this water away, where it gathers pollutants and then drains to the nearest river, lake, and/or ocean…

Instead - we want to regenerate Earth’s shield: Living Soil.

This will restore water tables with purified water filtered through organisms adapted to up-cycling nutrients and digesting pollutants.

Let’s re-think how we interface with nature.

Hey, eco-warriors! Do you want to know how to turn a degraded corn farm into a thriving food forest? Well, Mark and Jen Shepard are the ultimate power couple that will make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

After homesteading in Alaska for 8 years, where they learned to get food from trees, shrubs, bushes, and vines, they arrived in Wisconsin ready to take on permaculture. And boy, did they succeed!

By planting food-bearing trees, using alleys to grow annual crops in-between, and allowing a diverse group of animals to roam free, the Shepards turned a worn-out farm into one of the most productive in the country.

But, they didn't stop there! Mark created his own breeding method, STUN (Sheer Total Utter Neglect), to find the best trees for his region. And now, after nearly 30-years and planting an estimated 250,000 trees - their farm is a vibrant ecosystem that will inspire future generations.

At our company, we're developing turn-key regenerative farming solutions that follow in the footsteps of these eco-pioneers; learning from their experience to create simple and reliable business systems.

So, why not join us on this journey by watching their amazing story? Check out the video in the link below and prepare to be amazed!

Did you know that natural grasslands and pastures can actually help mitigate the effects of methane, one of the most potent greenhouse gases?

Regenerative grazing of cattle encourages the release of hydroxyl radicals, known as the dominant atmospheric detergent, which can help "scrub" up to 40 atmospheric pollutants, including methane, carbon monoxide, and hydrofluorocarbons.

By using Earth's natural Carbon Capture Shield, we can let cows roam free and produce the beef, steak, and dairy we love while still being kind to the environment.
