The future is written by those who show up. Early voting is open Oct 19–30. Be part of the change!⁠

What are school bonds? Think of it like a mortgage for a school district — voters decide if the district can borrow money for major projects like new buildings, renovations, buses, and tech upgrades. The district pays it back over time through property taxes. What bonds CAN'T cover: salaries & daily operations. That's why some districts also ask for a VATRE (flexible money for things like staff & programs). Three Future Ready districts have measures on the ballot this November — read up before you vote!

STUDENTS! This time next Saturday, October 24 we hope you’ll be joining your peers and nonprofit partners at Youth Do Vote and UP Partnership.

Join UP Partnership, Youth Do Vote, and Change Collective San Antonio alumni for Vote Early Day! 

We’ll gather for a casual breakfast, share nonpartisan election resources, and then around 11:30 am walk over to the McCreless Library vote center to cast our ballots.

It doesn’t matter how you vote or who you vote for, we just want to celebrate democracy and our right to vote!

**THIS IS A STRICTLY NONPARTISAN EVENT. No electioneering. No campaigning or political candidates will be allowed**

Event date: Saturday, October 24th
Time: 10:00 AM-12:00 PM 
Location: Starting at Whataburger, 3500 S New Braunfels Ave
Attire: Please do not wear anything political (shirt, button, cap, etc). You will be asked to remove/cover anything political before you enter the vote center, per Texas Election Code.

    •    10:00 AM-11:30 AM at Whataburger
