We’re halfway through Day of the Dragon, and our community is making great progress!

As of 1:55 PM, we have raised $60,217 toward our $175,000 goal. Thank you to everyone who has already made a gift. If you haven’t had a chance to participate yet, there’s still plenty of time! Make your contribution to the Dragon Fund by clicking our link in bio!

We also promised an update on our grade-level participation challenge. Here’s where things stand!

Remember, every gift counts toward your grade’s participation percentage and gets students closer to earning:

* 75% participation: Pizza Party
* 90% participation: Free Dress Day

There’s still time for your grade to reach the next milestone! We’ll continue tracking participation throughout the day.

Today is Day of the Dragon!!!

It’s a special day to celebrate our St. George community and come together in support of the people, programs, and experiences that make our school such a special place.

Our goal is to raise $175,000 for the Dragon Fund, and every gift, no matter the size, helps us get closer. Make your contribution to the Dragon Fund today by clicking the link in bio!

Why do we give to St. George? Watch our short “Why Give” video and see how the generosity of our community helps make the St. George experience possible.

And remember that the students have something to celebrate too! Every gift counts toward grade-level participation goals and helps students get closer to earning:

* 50% participation: Paletas

* 90% participation: Free Dress Day

We’ll share a grade-level participation update later today, so stay tuned to see where your grade stands!

Families who make a gift of $250 or more by the end of today will also be entered into a drawing for a William Chris w**e basket.

A reminder that families who make $750 or more in donations during the 2026–2027 school year to the Dragon Fund will be invited to an adults only lead donor celebration in August 2027.

Finally, we hope you’ll join us this afternoon and evening to cheer on our Dragon volleyball teams! If you pre-ordered BBQ, pickup will be available during the games at 4:30, 5:30, and 6:30 p.m.

A little rain couldn’t stop one of our favorite St. George traditions! 🐾

Thanks to some much needed rain, our annual Blessing of the Animals looked a little different this year. Instead of bringing our furry, feathered, and four-legged friends to campus, Dragons filled each chapel with beloved stuffed animals and photos of the pets waiting for them at home. We also sang Friday music chapel songs that highlighted God’s creation!

It may not have been our usual Blessing of the Animals, but there was certainly no shortage of creatures to bless or love to go around! 🐶🐱🐰🐉

All creatures great and small, the Lord God made them all. ❤️

Day of the Dragon is our biggest day of giving, a special opportunity for our entire community to come together in support of The Dragon Fund. While gifts may be made at any time throughout the year (link to donate in bio!), October 6 is a day to celebrate our collective generosity, school spirit, and the difference we can make together.

We look forward to celebrating with:

* A student spirit day featuring St. George spirit shirts and school bottoms
* Evening volleyball games - all families are invited to come cheer on the Middle School Dragons at 4:30pm, 5:30pm, and 6:30pm in the gym!

A HUGE congratulations to our Varsity Blue Volleyball Team for taking 4th place at the SA Force Volleyball Tournament and finishing the day 2-1! 💪🐉

And a BIG shoutout to our JV Blue Volleyball Team for an incredible 2nd PLACE finish and an awesome 3-1 record! 🥈
