Kym's Kids of San Antonio is San Antonio's only scholarship based program that engages youths in their community by combining volunteerism and their performance in school. Kym's Kids of San Antonio works with Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Antonio, Boys & Girls Clubs of San Antonio, Boysville, The Carver Academy, Catholic Charities, City Year San Antonio, Communities in Schools, Generation Texas,
George Gervin Youth Center, KIPP: Aspire, KIPP: University Prep, and Teach for America to create a web of diversity that extends the bonds of friendship and camaraderie beyond their neighborhoods. By coming together to volunteer, this network of Kym's Kids creates a positive, powerful impact in the city. Recognizing the importance of completing high school and of continuing their pursuit of higher education, Kym's Kids empowers its participants to take responsibility for their school performance. Coupled with their commitment to volunteerism and school success, our student participants strive to increase the scholarship award that will be awaiting them upon graduation.
