Come learn how to produce and create music, play a guitar, and DJ with some professional instructors and youth in the industry. It will be a great time to add some new skills leading into the holiday!

A few more days until registration closes for Teen Music Camp. Spend a couple of nights in the Texas Hill Country learning music and having a good time doing camp things.

JBSA is hosting a regional music camp for teens this summer. We have been doing this for 17 years. It has been a collaboration with BGCA and Kerrville Music Festival however this year most of the camp will be military youth. We all know that most camps for teenagers only serve one of two populations which are leadership oriented or technology oriented. This camp is for all teens whether they have music talent or not. Teens will work with professional artists and poets to create content to express themselves to build self confidence giving them a sense of influence in their lives. There’s no other way to describe the camp but magical. We’ve been asked by BGCA to perform at conferences. We’ve had Grammy winners work the youth in the past. We’ve even had some generous donations by musicians where we had every teen go home with an instrument. Some of our success stories include a teen who is now a Music Director, a teen who has started their career as an equestrian therapist, a teen who represented the Texas in the US Special Olympics, and a teen who was not only selected for Julliard in New York but offered a full ride to attend.

This year the camp will take place July 21-25 @ Quiet Valley Ranch in Kerrville Texas. We plan on doing archery and kayaking the Guadalupe River; along with music camp performances. To get an application please email [email protected]
