COCO's Mission: To enhance the quality of community life by promoting awareness and communication between residents; to provide a forum we where may contribute to the betterment of our neighborhood; and to protect the market value of our homes by keeping the common areas in good repair.
The Charter Oaks Community Organization (COCO) is a non-profit neighborhood association. Financial support is voluntary. COCO serves our community in several ways:
1. Maintains the Charter Oaks Pool and Clubhouse.
2. Maintains the neighborhood’s common areas.
3. Maintains the Charter Oaks signage
4. Maintains the grassy median at the entrance to Charter Oaks.
5. Organizes several social events throughout the year to foster neighborhood camaraderie and promotes those events through signage at each entrance.
6. Publishes a neighborhood newsletter
7. Publishes a neighborhood directory, provided free to all COCO members; with member advertising rates available and opportunities to list and promote the services of those under 18, such as babysitting, pet care, and lawn care.
8. Maintains this website and email system to disseminate information to homeowners about issues of interest and importance to our neighborhood.
The work of COCO is supported through resident maintenance dues, pool membership fees, clubhouse rental income, donations, and
the hundreds of hours expended by a generous
and devoted team of volunteers.
