BROTHERHOOD IN ACTION! 💛🖤💜💛

On Saturday, October 10, 2026, the Brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. (San Antonio Alphas) and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. joined forces to raise funds, increase awareness, and participate in the ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk!

This collaboration was more than a walk. It was a powerful demonstration of brotherhood, unity, service, and a shared commitment to fighting a disease that disproportionately impacts African American men.

While our fraternity colors and traditions may differ, our commitment to service and uplifting our communities remains the same. Prostate cancer has touched far too many of our families, friends, and fraternity Brothers, making this cause personal.

When Brothers unite for a greater purpose, our collective impact extends far beyond our individual organizations!

This is what Greek unity, community service, and the Divine Nine working together should look like!

🚀 NPHC of San Antonio STEM Student Workshop: Building Tomorrow’s Innovators Today

On Saturday, September 26, students gathered at VelocityTX for an exciting, hands-on STEM workshop hosted by the National Pan-Hellenic Council of San Antonio.

Our students didn’t just learn about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics—they put their ideas into action. They designed, built, collaborated, solved problems, and created bionic-arm prototypes.

And they exceeded expectations.

The VelocityTX team shared that our students were the most advanced class they had ever taught. Throughout the workshop, students showed curiosity, confidence, teamwork, and the potential to help shape tomorrow’s technologies, medical breakthroughs, and innovations.

We are grateful to VelocityTX for welcoming our students and sharing its expertise; to Step Into STEM for providing engaging experiences and resources; and to our NPHC leadership, volunteers, mentors, member organizations, and the families who made this day possible.

Most of all, we celebrate the students. They left having shown the promise of future scientists, engineers, healthcare professionals, technologists, entrepreneurs, and leaders.

This was more than a successful Saturday event—it was an investment in what comes next. Let’s keep nurturing talent, opening doors, and creating opportunities for our young people.

NPHC of San Antonio Youth STEM Workshop — Investing in the Future! 🔬🤖🧪

Today was about more than science, technology, engineering, and mathematics—it was about exposure, opportunity, and planting seeds for the future.

The National Pan-Hellenic Council of San Antonio was proud to host our Youth STEM Workshop today at VelocityTX, bringing students together for hands-on learning, career exploration, innovation, and an opportunity to see that there is a place for them in STEM.

Our young people cannot become what they have never been exposed to. Events like today allow students to explore possibilities, ask questions, meet professionals, and begin imagining themselves as tomorrow’s scientists, engineers, medical professionals, researchers, technology leaders, innovators, and problem-solvers.

A special thank you to VelocityTX for sponsoring and opening its doors to our students, and to the members of the NPHC of San Antonio and our Divine Nine organizations who gave their Saturday to invest in the next generation.

This is what “Stronger Together” looks like—organizations combining our time, talent, resources, and relationships to create opportunities for our youth.

We aren't simply preparing young people for the future. We are reminding them that they have the ability to help CREATE the future.

On September 19, 1963, twelve visionary founders established a brotherhood dedicated to scholarship, leadership, citizenship, fidelity, and brotherhood. Today, we proudly recognize the Centaurs for their continued service and positive impact throughout San Antonio and beyond.

The National Pan-Hellenic Council of San Antonio Blood Drive scheduled for Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Velocity Texas has been CANCELLED.
Please disregard the previously shared flyer and do not report to the location. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this cancellation may cause and thank everyone who registered, shared the information, or planned to donate.

Although this event will not take place, the need for blood remains critical—especially during Sickle Cell Awareness Month. We encourage everyone to continue supporting the lifesaving mission of South Texas Blood & Tissue by donating at another available location.
