Texas Society for Biomedical Research Our mission is to promote research and education in the biomedical sciences.

The goals of the organization are to provide educational programs, best practices, and new initiatives designed to educate health care professionals, researchers, students, and the lay public on the benefits associated with the:

• Humane care and use of animals in biomedical research.
• Responsible and ethical involvement of human subjects in biomedical research.
