Macie News Flash!! Our precious girl stole the show (and her foster mom's heart) and scored a forever home with her favorite human! So when Tejas had another adopter come knocking-it was NO. Instead, Macie's foster mom made it clear she had already found her perfect match. She will be adopted by her foster mom, joining their doggie pack. Rumor has it Macie, now named Roxie, sleeps in the bed with her new mom. Roxie will now be living her best life. Hurrah!

Tejas is delighted to announce that Persephone has found her forever home as a cherished family companion. The adoptive family is thrilled with their new addition, stating they've 'hit the jackpot' with her adoption. Persephone will reside on the far north side of San Antonio, TX.

Check out these two beauties!

I posted about these two gorgeous girls a few days ago. They are running out of time and need a hero fast.
They are 8 year old bonded girls whose human mom died of cancer a couple of months ago. They were indoor/outdoor cats and litterbox trained. Currently they are outdoors and surviving by the grace of neighbors and friends. The mom had arranged with a family member to care for the cats when she passed but that family member did not honor her wishes. The house is now under contract and the family "just wants them gone".
I met Sophie and Sheila this morning and they are so beautiful, calm and loving. They would be easy for even a first time cat owner. I fell in love with them instantly and would have scooped them up but I have 7 unadoptable weirdos at home so unfortunately, I can't take anymore in.
Please share and help get these girls adopted. Rescues are full-full-full and older cats are always overlooked so it's difficult to get them into a rescue.

She is a petite girl, weighing in at 30 pounds. Currently fostered in a private home with other dogs, she is now ready for adoption.
