Tejas Rescued Pet Adoptions 501c3 nonprofit charity, since 2005. TRPA adopts out cats and kittens of all breeds and dogs (mainly Chow Chows).

A Chow needing help in North Texas.
I hope this email finds you well! I am reaching out on behalf of the Kaufman County Pet Adoption Center in regard to a Chow in our care we affectionately named Cha-Cha. Cha-Cha came to us as a stray, completely and severely matted from ears to tail, yet always is happy to see and meet new people, he has since been shaven (Which he excelled in being patient with us about!) and it showed he has a bad flea problem, that has been remedied but no other major issues. He is very mild mannered, not bothered by much, and he really loves hot dogs.
He is not neutered but is up to date on vaccines and we can get anything needed as soon as we can if you decide to tag him. He is a sweet boy that deserves a chance and we appreciate your time and consideration!

Macie News Flash!! Our precious girl stole the show (and her foster mom's heart) and scored a forever home with her favorite human! So when Tejas had another adopter come knocking-it was NO. Instead, Macie's foster mom made it clear she had already found her perfect match. She will be adopted by her foster mom, joining their doggie pack. Rumor has it Macie, now named Roxie, sleeps in the bed with her new mom. Roxie will now be living her best life. Hurrah!
