Fostering kittens after last year’s flood was one of the most rewarding experiences for our family. Please consider being a temporary/emegancy foster to help the shelters after this flood.
Rescues like Charming Pet Rescue and God’s Dog Rescue are in the Hill Country and are experiencing flooding and need temporary homes for their dogs. Even the local shelters are overwhelmed from pets getting out running in fear of the recent storms. Every dog, cat, puppy, or kitten temporarily fostered saves their life and makes room for another life to be saved.
You don’t have to make the commitment of bottle feeding kittens or puppies, like we did. There are many puppies and kittens that are old enough for solid food what just need a home for a few weeks until they are old enough to be adopted.
Severe weather is bringing more pets through our doors — and you can help save lives TODAY.
With more wet weather in the forecast, ACS is seeing more pets arrive from weather-related calls while our kennels remain full. We need your help to create space for pets who need a safe place to stay.
Join us today from 1 p.m.–6 p.m. to become an emergency foster and give a pet the comfort of a temporary home. A 3-week commitment can help a shelter pet get the care, time, and support they need while making room for another pet in need.
We provide the supplies and support — you provide the love (and maybe a spot on your couch!).
Looking to adopt? Adoptions are $0 all day!
