An opportunity to hear some singing this summer and support local educational opera!
"Speed Dating Tonight! is a modern, one-act comic "numbers opera" by composer and librettist Michael Ching, based on a concept by Dean Anthony. Set in a local bar, it follows a diverse group of singles through a whirlwind series of brief, rapid-fire dates managed by a coordinator named Kaylee, capturing the awkward, funny, and touching realities of modern human connection.
We have a cast of 12 students and we are choosing to do many of the scenes that are lighthearted and humorous and definitely have more of a broadway type of feel. You can reach out to Becky Walker if you have any more questions."
