Join us in praying for our wonderful Inner City volunteer, Irene Lucio, as she recovers from her hospital stay. Thank you, Juanita who is another very thoughtful volunteer who delivered flowers from all the weekly volunteers at Inner City.

Seven points of info on the Summer Program:
1. Begins Thursday, June 11 and ends Friday July 24 (6 and a half weeks).
2. Focuses on children 6 - 12 yrs old
3. Four and 5 year-olds may come if they have a sibling who attends who is 8 yrs old or older
4. Program is open Mon - Fri, from 11:00 to 3:30.
5. Teenagers may participate if they agree to become a volunter and help run the program three days a week.
6. Teens and adults who want to volunteer must attend a training on Tuesday, June 9, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Inner City Development, 1300 Chihuahua St.
7. We serve free lunch and snacks.
Extra notes: Teenagers volunteer 3 days a week. ADULTs volunteer on the days they are available, even if it's only one day each week.

Applications available Mon. - Fri. from 9:00 am to 12:00 at the center.

So much rain! We haven't been able to hang the sign out front: REGISTER KIDS NOW FOR SUMMER PROGRAM!
This program is for children who live in or attend ANY schools in the area near Lanier H.S.

Thank you to everyone who attended yesterday's Community Meeting to express support for Rose Carrion as the Executive Director Designate who will now begin 6 months training with Patti and Rod so that she can take full leadership of Inner City Development with the help of many, many supportive volunteers.
