A focus on art through community engagement led to the creation of two community-based arts programs: The Community Mural & Public Art Program, and El Placazo Community Newspaper & Mentor Program. Saludos Barrio!!! El Placazo Summer Bootcamp is OVER!!!! ☀️ and we couldn’t be prouder of the youth! For 2 weeks the teens were immersed in journalism, graphic design, comic books, zines, and movie making!!! Here is just a small clip of all the fun that was had!!

Saludos Barrio! Summer camp is right around the corner, and we are asking for donations! Gift cards are great, we are able to purchase what we need when we need it. But we love donations too!

The youth love juices, poptarts, chips, and sandwich making ingredients! We are grateful our comunidad, and the way y’all always show out for the youth!
