3:33 Friday morning my grand daughter was born healthy and beautiful...10.33 I watched "13" on NETFLIX and my heart mourns for the part of her future without her brothers, husbands and sons who equal 4% of OUR AMERICAN population and 40% of the prison populations of profits.
My heart mourns for the young men who don't have lawyers to get them the same sentences for minor crimes as their non~color counter part, the men force to give up their rights to votes, rights to go to school, rights to rent ..rights to work
Through VOTING and holding our congressman, senators, judges,etc accountable to us and not the lobbyist of business greed we can remold America to redirect the energy of men to be tax payers policing their hoods and raising their children

My daughter had a great disappointment and reminded me to have faith, it will be ok...and in the same 24 hours my sister- in-faith-in-law shared her testimony of going thru the storm and coming out a Victorious Woman

Six years later and that bullet that almost killed my daughter still brings pain to my heart.
She can have surgery to repair her foot. We traveled to Houston for pre-op to find out deductible needed for Thursday surgery is 2k not 1k.
I am gratefully blessed to be rich with family, friends, health and my work.
Today it's hard being money poor. Today my mother's heart hurts.

What do you think of a prison ministry that would teach prisoners to use their sales skills and knowledge of supply and demand to create and sell DUBLIN URBAN TOTES. Huntsville prison has a factory set up to produce uniforms,laundry bags,etc. Let's show them their POWER doesn't have to rely on guns.
The sewing techniques would be easy to teach. The bags could be sold to tourists with the knowledge they're buying a pcs of folkart that will empower it's creators. VIA could be a vendor to promote shopping on bus with the DUBLIN URBAN TOTES that can handle the weight
