🌿 Rooted in Our Shared Humanity

What a meaningful evening of dialogue, learning, and connection at Raindrop Foundation.

From the history of our local peace work, to reflections from Christian, Hindu, Jewish, and Muslim perspectives, to honest table conversations about the challenges and possibilities of interfaith relationships, we were reminded that peace begins with relationships.

And we ended by looking toward the future, as our young people planted a fig tree representing roots, relationships, and hope. 🌱

Thank you to everyone who showed up, shared their stories, listened with open hearts, and continues this important work.

May our roots grow deeper, our relationships grow stronger, and our communities grow more compassionate. 🤍

🌍 Around the World Festival 🌍
We had a wonderful time representing the Raindrop Foundation at the Around the World Festival! With nearly 40 countries participating, it was a beautiful celebration of culture, friendship, and diversity.

Raindrop proudly represented Azerbaijan 🇦🇿, Kazakhstan 🇰🇿, Kyrgyzstan 🇰🇬, and Turkmenistan 🇹🇲, while the Raindrop Ensemble brought cultures together through music. 🎶

A heartfelt thank you to the World Affairs Council of San Antonio and the organizers for the invitation and warm hospitality. We were honored to be part of such a meaningful event! 💙🌎

🍂 What a beautiful evening at our September Women’s Coffee Night: Season of Change — Women, Wellness & Culture! ☕️💛

A special thank you to Dr. Marissa Emadi (Marissa Emadi) and Dr. Joelle Sarkis (Joelle Sarkis) for an incredibly informative conversation on perimenopause and menopause. We loved seeing so many thoughtful questions, open conversations, and such wonderful engagement from our guests! 🌸

We ended the evening with a fun Turkish turşu (pickling) demonstration, where our volunteers prepared their own jars to take home. 🥒🥕✨

And of course, raffles, gifts, coffee, laughter, and new connections made the night even more special.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped create such a warm and welcoming evening! 💙
