Congratulations to Dr. Florencia Casto on receiving the Duke Samson Award at the 2026 CNS Annual Meeting CNS in Washington, D.C.

Her research, “Beyond Qualitative Doppler: Quantitative Spectral Analysis of Intraoperative Micro-Doppler Signals During Cerebral Aneurysm Clipping,” explores how quantitative Doppler analysis may provide additional intraoperative data during aneurysm surgery.

Congratulations to Varun Padmanaban, recipient of the Neurosurgery Cerebrovascular Paper of the Year at the 2026 CNS Annual Meeting CNS in Washington, DC.

His paper, "Safety and Efficacy of Tiny (≤3 mm) Unruptured Middle Cerebral Artery Aneurysm Treatment: An Analysis of the NeuroVascular Quality Initiative-Quality Outcomes Database Cerebral Aneurysm Registry," examines outcomes for patients with very small aneurysms.
