A highlight of SNIS 2026 was the CV Section's dedicated Tuesday programming, bringing members together for the CV Section Awards & Luessenhop Lecture.

Moderated by Dr. Ketan Bulsara and Jonathan Russin, MD, the session recognized outstanding contributions to the field while providing an opportunity to learn from leaders advancing cerebrovascular and endovascular neurosurgery.

Thank you to everyone who attended, presented, and contributed to the discussions that continue to strengthen our specialty. From celebrating excellence to sharing knowledge and fostering collaboration, sessions like these reflect the CV Section's commitment to advancing education, research, and patient care.

The Dacey Medal recognizes exceptional leadership, dedication, and lasting contributions to the field of cerebrovascular neurosurgery. Through his commitment to clinical excellence, research, education, and mentorship, Dr. Hoh has made a meaningful impact on both the specialty and the patients it serves.

During the CV Section Awards & Luessenhop Lecture at SNIS 2026, attendees also had the opportunity to hear Dr. Hoh's presentation, "Pharmacotherapeutic Targets for the Treatment of Cerebral Aneurysms," which explored emerging therapeutic approaches in cerebrovascular care.
