Vote YES on SAISD Prop A!!!

Prop A is a VATRE proposition, generating funds that, in contrast to capital bonds, can be spent on employee compensation. This prop would raise $5.5 million each year.

Out of the four SAISD bond propositions, Proposition A is the only one that can generate funds for school worker pay.

Vote YES on Prop A. Early vote begins on October 19th, Election Day is November 3rd.

We welcomed Texas AFT President, Zeph Capo, and Secretary-Treasurer, Wanda Longoria, for their San Antonio stop on the Texas AFT Listening Tour and to kick-off the FundED, ProtectED, and RespectED Campaign. 📝

Alliance members shared their concerns about a lack of funding and support for our public schools and thoughts on what our legislative priorities should be for the 2027 session. We’ll be busy from now until Election Day to elect pro-public education candidates!

It’s election time in Texas, and we’re ready to vote, mobilize our friends, families, coworkers, and neighbors to the polls, and stand together against election interference in any form.
