Great Hearts is a non-profit network of public charter schools dedicated to improving education nationwide through classical, preparatory, K-12 academies. As the largest provider of classical education in the country, Great Hearts academies serve more than 14,000 students at 29 public schools in greater Phoenix, AZ and San Antonio and Irving, TX, with waitlists that typically exceed enrollment. Great Hearts provides a robust liberal arts curriculum incorporating advanced math and science, a focus on the arts and foreign language, and a range of extra-curricular activities and athletics.

Thanks to a tremendous amount of hard work behind the scenes, Student Council revealed Forest Heights' Upper School House System today! Every student was assigned to a House through sorting ceremonies. They met House leadership and House teammates, showed their House spirit, and engaged in activities to get to know each other.

Thank you, Ms. Flores and Headmaster Monteverdi, for envisioning the House System and for mentoring Student Council to get it off the ground!

A few weeks ago, Scholars from our North Texas Academies came together for the opportunity to speak directly to representatives from over 70 colleges and universities at the North Texas Great Hearts College Fair. The Great Hearts College Counseling team works one-on-one with each of our scholars to guide them on their path after they graduate, providing individualized support for each scholar.
