Serving our community starts with people who are willing to show up and make a difference!

A heartfelt thank you to the UTSA - The University of Texas at San Antonio Public Health Society and its incredible members for volunteering their time and energy at SA Hope Center!

Together, they helped unload and organize two pallets of food, restocking the shelves and refrigerators in our Mercadito to ensure individuals and families have access to essential food and resources.

But their impact goes far beyond stocking shelves. Every item placed on a shelf represents an opportunity to meet a basic need, ease a family's burden, and help someone take another step toward stability and self-sufficiency.

This is why SA Hope Center exists. We believe that when basic needs are met, individuals and families can focus on building a stronger, more hopeful future.

To the UTSA Public Health Society, thank you for putting compassion into action and reminding us what is possible when our community comes together with a shared purpose.

Together, we're not just filling shelves. We're helping fill lives with hope!

Want to make a difference in your community?

Whether you're an individual, student organization, business, or faith-based group, there's a place for you to serve at SA Hope Center! Your time, talents, and willingness to serve can make a lasting impact on the lives of our neighbors.

Be part of something bigger. Volunteer with us!

Meet the people behind our mission!

Through our Food Pantry and Boutique, SA Hope Center helps individuals and families access essential resources while working toward greater stability.

We spoke with a member of our team about what keeps him passionate about serving our community and why this work matters.

At SA Hope Center, our mission is simple: We love people well by empowering them to meet their needs through in-depth case management and wrap- around social services.

Together we’re working to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the people we serve.

What if your next customer, connection, or opportunity is already on the golf course? ⛳

As a Fairway Friend Sponsor, you’re not simply putting your logo on a sign.

1 in 5 U.S. adults experience mental illness each year, and conversations like this matter.

Our newest St. Mary’s University intern, Ilianah Sweiss, sat down with Ana Bejin, SA Hope Center’s Director of Mental Health & Wellness and fellow St. Mary’s alumna, to talk about our 8-week Mental Health Class and why understanding depression is an important first step.

We are grateful to Northside Church of Christ for partnering with us to create space for learning, hope, and support.

Current SA Hope Center participants can connect with their case manager or therapist to register.
