Live Oak Singers, Inc. We are an SATB 4-part choir. All are welcome to join, allies, trans, non-binary, etc...

Live Oak Singers of San Antonio, is a LBGTQ+ & friends chorus, serving the community by opening hearts and minds to love and acceptance through the power of music. An LGBTQ+ Family and Friends choral group consisting of men, women, trans, & gender non-conforming members; led by our current Artistic Director Paul Hughes. We were founded in 2014, and will be starting our 10th Season August 2023!

Today, we join so many across the world in honoring the life and legacy of Dolly Parton.

An icon. An ally. A songwriter. A storyteller. A philanthropist. A creator whose music, generosity, humor, and heart reached across generations.

For LGBTQ+ communities and artists everywhere, Dolly represented something deeply meaningful: joy without apology, kindness without condition, and the courage to be fully yourself.

As a chorus rooted in music, community, and belonging, we are grateful for the songs, the advocacy, and the light she shared with the world.

Thank you, Dolly. We will always love you. 💜

🚨 Audition & Accessibility Update 🚨

We're excited to welcome everyone to Season 13 Open Auditions this evening!

Due to an unexpected elevator outage, please proceed directly to the Fellowship Hall, where auditions will be held. This is our regular rehearsal space and is fully accessible at ground level with nearby accessible restroom facilities.

✅ You may enter through any campus entrance.
➡️ Directional signage will be posted throughout the campus.
🙋 Volunteers and officers will be available to help guide you to the Fellowship Hall.

We're thrilled that more than 30 singers are already scheduled to audition tonight! There are still a limited number of appointments available if you're feeling inspired to join us.

If today's accessibility change affects your plans, we've also opened additional audition appointments on:

📅 Monday, August 10 (6:00–7:00 p.m.)
📅 Monday, August 17 (6:00–7:00 p.m., before our first rehearsal)

You're welcome to schedule, reschedule, or audition during one of these additional time slots.
