As Pride Month begins, we celebrate the resilience, joy, history, and future of LGBTQ+ communities everywhere.
For more than a decade, the Live Oak Singers have worked to create a space where people can find belonging, build community, and raise their voices together through the power of music. Today, more than 100 voices strong, we proudly continue that mission while honoring the legacy of those who came before us.
Pride is a celebration, but it is also a reminder of why visibility matters.
At a time when many members of our community continue to face uncertainty, exclusion, and attempts to silence their stories, we remain committed to being a safe, welcoming, and affirming space for LGBTQ+ individuals and our allies. We believe every person deserves dignity, respect, and the opportunity to live authentically.
Throughout June, you'll find us celebrating Pride across San Antonio, including events with the City of San Antonio, the Pride Festival, and a special joint musical Pride celebration at University Presbyterian Church.
We have much more planned, and we can't wait to share it with you.
Until then, we'll keep doing what we've always done: building community, lifting one another up, and singing our song.
