Musical Bridges Around the World is a 501(c)(3) arts nonprofit with the mission to celebrate our shared humanity by providing access to global arts for all. Founded in 1998 by Russian-born pianist Dr. Anya Grokhovski and a group of avid music lovers, MBAW currently provides world-class music and arts from around the world programming FREE of charge to the public, students, and senior communities.

At the Grand Opening of the 2024 Gurwitz International Piano Competition, pianist Sergio Tiempo takes the stage to perform Alberto Ginastera's Danzas Argentinas Op. 2, bringing the full force of his artistry to one of Latin American classical music's most celebrated works in a performance that set the entire evening ablaze from the very first note.

The deadline to apply for the Colburn-Pledge Music Scholarship is coming up fast! 🎻

This scholarship provides college tuition assistance up to $3,000 for young bowed string players pursuing careers in classical music. Open to first-year classical string students (violin, viola, cello, and bass) with school admission who live in the Greater San Antonio area. Milton Holbrook brought the soul of India through every note on the sitar while Dr. Lopita Nath of Rhythmics School of Kathak Dance San Antonio, Indian Dance brought students to the edge of their seats with the stunning beauty of classical Indian dance.
