Yesterday, we celebrate three outstanding Young Marines as they officially retired from the program. Over the years, they have demonstrated dedication, leadership, integrity, and a commitment to serving others that has left a lasting impact on our unit.

Congratulations to YM/GySgt Wright, YM/Sgt Gill, and YM/1st Sgt Gill on reaching this milestone. Thank you for the example you have set, the lives you have touched, and the countless memories you've helped create. We are incredibly proud of each of you and can't wait to see where your next chapter takes you.

May 23, 2026 the San Antonio Young Marines got to hang out with the Alamo Chapter 1st Marine Division Association Annual Clay Shoot event. While the shooting portion of the event got rained out, we still got to present colors, assist with the auction, serve and enjoy some great chow, study a little DDR, and connect with our friends at the Alamo Chapter 1st Marine Division Association. It was a great day!

A special acknowledgment goes to our unit's DDR Officer, a local police officer who tirelessly works to maintain safety on our campuses and in our families' lives, and we feel fortunate to call him a valued member of the San Antonio Young Marines . Congratulations on your latest recognition from the local school district!
