On Tuesday, BHFSA President and CEO Cody Knowlton joined trustee Manny Ruiz to celebrate the unveiling of a statue honoring former San Antonio Mayor Phil Hardberger, at the park which bears his name. It was special timing for BHFSA, because we'll be airing a great interview with the Honorable Mr. Hardberger on Saturday, May 2, at 8:30 a.m. on AM 630.

We're incredibly grateful to have been able to present our 2025 Spirit of Health Award to Redeemer's Praise Church, an eastside congregation under the care of Pastor Shetigho Nakpodia. Redeemer's Praise exemplifies Christ's compassion, love, and service, as they host church services, do outreach and serve meals all around the city.

We interrupt the constant stream of BHFSA Celebrates photos (there will be more, no worries if you haven't seen yours yet) to share this IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR ORGANIZATIONS IN ATASCOSA, BANDERA, COMAL, GUADALUPE, KENDALL, MEDINA, AND WILSON COUNTIES.

We're doing out-of-town Coffee Convos in two weeks!! If you've never been, this is a casual chat with BHFSA staff and trustees over a beverage (on us!). You can ask questions, update us on any exciting happenings at your organization, and introduce us to new nonprofits in your area.

The best part is that we come to you! We know that folks in the outlying counties absolutely don't want to deal with San Antonio traffic.

Baptist Health Foundation of San Antonio is heartbroken by the recent loss of one of our most faithful and joyful trustees, Mr. Bill Lee.

Though we will miss him deeply, we are grateful for the time we had with him during his 11 year tenure with BHFSA, and we rejoice with him and his family as we know he is home with his beloved Savior.
